Greener, Cleaner Cricklewood

In response to the feedback from traders and residents of the Broadway, the Cricklewood Improvement Programme is targeting the whole issue of rubbish and plan to clean up the area. A deep clean of the Broadway has been undertaken by the three boroughs with varying degrees of success.

As a result, the newly established team, Greener Cleaner Cricklewood, at CIP, have developed a Community Engagement plan to increase participation in the clean-up of the Broadway.

The plan includes engagement of local schools, businesses, traders and resident volunteers of all ages in our community.  The key driver of the campaign is to establish a foundation for us all to make a diference as part of our role as citizens of this community.

You can also read more about the clean-up on the Brent BASIS Project site.

There will be a planned Week of Action starting 16th April 2012 where all age groups will be able to contrribute to making a difference.  The entire Broadway and Cricklewood together with many other streets adjoing Cricklewood Broadway will be cleaned by a team of residents and traders.

For further information, please e-mail us at cipcricklewood@yahoo.co.uk or telephone Shirley Wilson on 0208 2088590

We are working with a tri-borough network of schools to promote litter free local areas.  Traders and businesses are being encouraged to put up posters and help in the Big Tidy Up!
